Dear Derrick,

Hey Kiddo. I was so cranky with you today. I don't mean to be. I have so much on my mind right now and I have taken it out on you. You have been an innocent bystander in all that is happening, and I am so sorry if I hurt you.

The seasons are changing. The summer days are coming to a close and we are embarking on my favorite season, fall. The way the leaves change color is one of my favorite things to see. Soon, we will be able to break free from the chains that are binding us.
